YOU are the most important visual to your audience! This is another reason why rehearsal is so critical … the more you rehearse the more confident and the better your body language becomes.
Pitch – We need to vary our pitch in order to keep the story interesting and engaging.
Pace – The speed needs to change in order to maintain your audience’s attention.
Power – Make sure you are speaking loudly enough … and never underestimate the power of a whisper!
Pause – You need to breathe. You also need to create a sense of anticipation.
